Hi All,

We have a meet tomorrow night at Glen Ridge Swim Club. Here are the details:

• Please sign up to volunteer for a job.  If positions are still open tomorrow, I will assign people before the meet.
• Please arrive between 5:00 - 5:30pm. The other team is due to arrive around 5:30, so if you want to park close, get there early.
• Have your swimmer(s) find the coaches as soon as they can so they can get their “event, heat and lane assignments.” The coaches will write this info on their hand in sharpie marker...you can take a picture, so you know what events they’re swimming and what heat/lane they will be in. We have a lot of younger kids this year, so if the parents can help with the sharpie writing, that would be appreciated!
• Warm ups will be at 5:45pm and the meet will start around 6:15pm. The coaches will tell the swimmers when to get in the pool for warmups.
• I will have latex team caps tomorrow if you wish to purchase. 2 for $15.
• Please arrive with water, goggles and a towel for your swimmer. Don't forget to wear the team suit if you have it. (a back-up pair goggles and swim cap are recommended). Don't forget sunscreen - it's gonna be a hot one!
• At the end of the warm-ups, SWIMMERS NEED TO REPORT TO THE COACHES to do a team cheer.
• The coaches will do their best throughout the meet to make sure your swimmer(s) knows when their events are coming up and when they need to report behind the blocks. However, any help you can give them to get your swimmer where they need to go is appreciated.
• As soon as the last relay event is swum and the meet is done, SWIMMERS NEED TO REPORT TO THEIR COACHES to do a closing team cheer and wait for the meet results. Don't leave early!
• Finally, wear your gator shirts or anything green, CHEER and have a great time!!
